There is a strong belief that risk assessment is the foundation of good evidence based dentistry. As dental professionals, we have the opportunity to provide excellent preventive dental care using an individualized patient approach. By identifying each patient's risk for oral disease, and using appropriate protocols and therapeutic treatments, we can quickly intervene to help our patients maintain optimal oral health.
