Digital impression technology is a new and powerful tool to help eliminate guess work, errors and manual steps in the impression taking process for indirect restorative procedures. By doing so, dentists can eliminate the stress and inaccuracies that can occur with the traditional impression process.
Dr. James C. Grant will walk participants through the digital impression workflow with the Lava™ Chairside Oral Scanner C.O.S. from 3M ESPE, to discuss how digital impressions have cut out stress in his impression procedures and allowed him to receive better fitting quality restorations. Dr. Grant will be addressing the benefits he’s seen with real cases, and share his results, including final seating photographs and radiographs that highlight the marginal fit. He will also share an unedited video, which shows him walking through a digital impression scan from start to finish. This course is recommended for dentists.
